Reputable online dating services will have a review panel that looks at each photograph to make sure it meets certain criterion. This means that photographs too seductive would not be accepted, if the photo were blurry and generally not good, it would be rejected, and so on. Other reasons that a photograph would not be accepted include the following:

Photographers where your face is obscured by another person, pet, tree, cigarette smoke, or some other object
Group postings where the panel would have no idea which person is you
Photographs that include nudity, sheer, or see through material that shows too much of a personal area
Anything that the panel feels is too explicit or suggestive
A photograph that includes you and a celebrity, licensed cartoon character, or copyrighted image
Photographs that cannot be distinguished or are too blurry
Photographs that include illustrations, caricatures, or drawings

You can certainly have fun with the photographs by showing yourself sitting with your pets, sitting in a field of flowers, standing on the ridge of a mountaintop, or other situations that show some things that you enjoy.
