and has a large database of members.
Just about every dating service online today charges some type of fee. These fees range from $8.95 to hundreds of dollars each month. Now keep in mind that some online dating services do offer a free basic membership. However, by basic, it generally means very basic. In other words, free means no chat room, no photo upload in many cases, no instant messaging, and sometimes, limited viewing (i.e., you can only view 30 profiles per month). Therefore, you would have much more success paying the small fee than you would in using the "free" membership. Remember, after the first month if you are not satisfied, you can simply cancel your membership.
Many of the larger internet dating services also offer a free trial period. This is a great way to determine if the layout and membership database is what you want. Depending on the site, you may or may not have access to all of the services during this time. This would include viewing photos, using instant messaging, joining in the chat room, and so on. However, if you were just starting out and wanted to see what online dating is all about, the free trial period is beneficial.
